Cool… we cede the future of power generation technology to China.

What if you are an american journalist that is critical of them…

Another shoulder shrug by libs?

The original claim was this.

“Is that anything like the green light the middle east had for human rights violations when we were completely dependent on them for oil?”

And the answer to my question was " Throughout the History of Islam" which is a nonsense answer in so many ways.

So I ask again… When was the green light given for human rights violations when we were completely dependent on them for oil?

What future, if we’re relying on Chinese manufacturing for solar panels or other unreliable renewables? Biden already had a shot and failed spectacularly - show me proven leadership.

The issue I was responding to was the criticism of Trump’s, and by extension Americas dealing with China, given its record of human rights violations.

I just pointed out we’ve turned a blind eye to human rights violations long before Trump. And we will continue to do so as long as it’s in our interest. We got away from relying middle east oil under Trump. Biden will make darn sure that reliance is re-established. How does America benefit from that?

Specifics please.

Specifics on what?

When did the US give a green light to human rights violations in the Middle East?

At the same time the green light was given to human rights violations in China of course!

By who?

You tell me, it wasn’t my statement.

This is getting weird.

Here was your statement: He gave the green light for human rights violations as long as they bought soybeans.

Were you not talking about Trump?

thats just silly. we will have a viable and vibrant alt energy industry when we can produce enough energy from it to supply our needs at a lesser cost than what we use now without subsidies and without penalties.

I wouldn’t say green light however countries are obviously ignoring that figure of 1.1 million citizens locked away in concentration camps in China. Not the concentration camps like on our border but the real deal. And it’s reported that while the men are in these concentration camps their wives get visited by the guards serving as a sort of sort comfort girl (Made In China).

I give props to the BBC for relentlessly investigating and reporting of the issue which I would guess the mass of the west doesn’t know about.
