A Black former police officer explains the nature of systemic racism in the US

I know sorry that was me making a different point

Not really. There actually were some legitimate arguments against his being eligible, but your media only played the craziest ones.

Actual birth certificate disbelievers had a very small platform, but it was the only platform the media would give time to. Trump being one of them means nothing to me, ask someone who voted for him for that info.

Narrator: There were not.

He was a black man on the front lines as a police officer. A random person on the street would not have that kind of experience or insight.

Because he is a police officer who happens to be black.

This thread has all the makings of “my African American”

Why does it matter to LIBs what color a man’s skin is if he is shot by a policeman? Why is white on black crime sensationalized by LIBs, but all other forms of crime are largely ignored?

That is your absurd characterization. Rather than criticize, how about joining the conversation?

Interesting response…

So does this mean that his color is important because of his experience? Is he more black than cop or is he more cop than black?

Why did ya cut my link? :sob:

I have. You even responded to me

Could a white police officer talk about what it means to be black on the police force?

In regards to what? His compatriots? The Public?

What is it that you think the new york post story exemplifies about minorities in the police force having to prove themselves to their white compatriots?

Is the blue wall s liberal conspiracy theory?

I was hoping you’d say something along these lines.

My next door neighbor is a black policeman. And he’s been doing it a lot longer than Mr. Tatum ever did, too.

Again:

Because he was a black cop?

In regards to anything.

It is practically impossible to be inside an organization and not know the culture better than those outside.

You do raise an interesting point; is the blue wall stronger than race.

Multiple members have posted their response, including me. I provided my reason and have no intention of justifying my reason to you.

Yes, when the topic is police racism against his race. Intersectionality.

I agree that’s why i asked. I am trying to figure out what is being referenced.

And yes that’s where i was taking the conversation. I think it is.

Do you also yell surprise before everyone else?

Springing ambushes is one of my many talents.

You are after all

If you choose to give more weight to his opinion because he was a black cop before he became a conservative pundit, I certainly can’t, and wouldn’t try to stop you.

Is that what you’re saying?
