9 year old American citizen detained dispite having proof of citizenship on her

Another excellent point.

What would it show?

And what happens?

Sounds like a failure in implementing protocols and procedures. Wonder why this keeps happening.

Sounds like some folks are losing faith.

It could be his word against theirs, in which case nothing will come of it. A lot of local police forces are require to record all interrogations. Might be a good idea here as well.

They have access. Hell the database was created for them as much as anybody else.

Why be soft on nine year olds? If they can’t take an interrogation we are failing our children… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Maybe Congress could do something…

Fat chance of that…

Losing faith? It’s only been 6 months…

I don’t recall ever having faith in congress.

Centgov. In whom did you have faith?

The commissioner of border patrol could probably implement it with the stroke of a pen.

Congress is trying hard to do something… Open our borders.

But obviously won’t. Time for the People’s House to act.

Myself, a couple of close friends and relatives. Jagdish at the deli counter.

Shes not the only one there to be processed.

Immigration agents have extra authority in areas near the border
United States v. Gordo-Marin, 497 F. Supp. 432 (S.D. Fla. 1980)

“… specifics of our techniques for determining the true identity of a person crossing the border are law enforcement sensitive information”

I doubt they would even think of that particular thing. Recording interrogations.

I have doubt that whatever they come up with will be effective too, but they probably will do something.

Come on!
