Yeah you are in the minority here…
This is my argument against “comprehensive” immigration reform. Unless being in the country illegally becomes a felony with immediate deportation, pathway to citizenship won’t mean ■■■■ because they’ll just keep coming here illegally.
Notice the pattern there? Amnesty didn’t work in 86 and it won’t work here.
We’ll be in the same place a decade down the road.

There shouldnt be. Unless they are breaking the law beyond just being here they shkuldnt be removed.
Making America great again by doing what exactly? Ruining children’s lives because people are just trying to survive.
No thanks. More to life than this petty crap.

The fact that these applicants are Hispanic and don’t speak a word of English should be the first clue to any potential employer who cares about breaking the law.

And there in lies the problem.
In the country illegally
working illegally
~sniff with a tear in the eye~ we gotta release them instead of deporting them.
Why only HR? Surely upper management and owner(s) should face the consequences as well?
From the required I-9 Form: “I am aware that federal law provides imprisonment and/or fines for false statements or use of false documents in connection with completing this form. I attest under, under penalty of perjury, that I am (Check one of the following boxes):” The boxes are:
- A Citizen
- A non citizen national of the United States
- A Lawful permanent resident
- An Alien authorized to work until…
So…
For the employee, by working illegally they have broken other laws by working when they are not eligible and/or committed perjury and/or committed identity theft and/or proved false legal documents.
If the employer has no I-9 “Employment Eligibility Verification”, which the employer is required to keep for 3-years after date of hire or 1-year after employment ends whichever is later - the the employer is violating the law.

Dry up their jobs and they will self deport. E-verify and heavy fines on anyone who hires them.
No jobs, no illegals. Easy peasy.

But no employers were arrested and jailed and separated from their children. Not only that any possible fines they receive will be so small as to not be any incentive to not hire illegals in the future.
No way nearly 700 low skilled folks pulled that much wool over the heads of those employers.
That’s a political talking point started by liberals of course but has been picked up by both D & R pols. It’s a bunch of bull.
The only cold hearted bastards I see are those who put these illegal aliens about the safety of the American people.
Beyond the fact they know they are breaking the law makes them criminals and should be deported!
What should be done about the employers who hire them and most likely replace them with more illegal immigrants?
Take everything they own and auction it off and then give it to unemployed Americans.
But the fat donald administration didn’t do that. They’re still doing business and most likely will hire more illegal immigrants to replace the ones that were caught.
Why aren’t you outraged about that?
Most farmers have illegal immigrants working for them. Hell, even fat donald has invaders currently working at his properties. Where’s the outrage?
" from being here illegally" covers this…
Sorry family over some silly sense of these people are bad law breaking criminals.
