What’s laughable is your assessment. Trump had zero political capital in the House. Pelosi would not have given him that victory before the election if he had a gun to her head. And Mitch could not have helped even if he had wanted to. ALL spending bills originate in the House.

After election, trump had zero tweets on stimulus. Zero. He didn’t get involved with the negotiations at all. During that time he tweets over 100 times about stolen election. I’m calling BS on him giving any care to stimulus. Dems put out a bill in summer. Trump could have negotiate something.

All Nancy had to do was pick up the phone and call.

We need a consistent and oherant response to the pandemic and to the effects our response has on our economy.

ie: Large indoor music events - not a good idea during the pandemic. Let’s close them down. Then we have to flat out support the people who work in those venues until it is safe for them to open again.

None of that is within the purview of the Federal Government.

Those appropriations are not in the COVID relief package; the COVID relief is in the appropriations bill … the OMNIBUS bill to continue funding of the Government.

Doesn’t matter. I’m tired of them tying things to the appropriations bill so they can get their ■■■■■■■■ passed because the optic of voting against it are bad. If they had brought this covid bill up on it’s own it would have been called out for the ■■■■ legislation that it is. This is the only way they could pass the stinking pile.
