So to sum up your point of view - we have many school shootings because we don’t have enough Jesus Christ in our lives. Yet other countries who have even less Jesus in their lives do not have school shootings for reasons that are vague but plentiful ?

I’m kinda jumping in the mix here I know, but it’s a discussion board……

I don’t think schools need more “Jesus” in them per se, but Religion used to be one of the primary teachers of morals. As it’s moved into the backstage something else needs to teach those morals.

I’d be willing to bet the European countries are still getting strong doses of morality from their home lives, while in the US it’s more concerned with being non-confrontational and everyone is friends.

I think so too. Yes, I think more Christianity would be the best answer, but even Americans who weren’t necessarily Christians used to believe in and promote Christian tenets. How much better off would society be if it really believed and taught their children such horrendous things like thou shalt not lie, cheat, steal, covet and commit adultery? Those 5 alone would sure bring a big improvement, but if course those are quaint if not downright offensive to many, especially on the left.

I agree we should educate everyone on these things, be it in name of Christianity or just a general idea to not be an ■■■■■■■ in this world that we all share.

The problem is that people don’t need to be “educated” about these things. Everyone already knows they’re wrong. That’s why when we do everyone of these things we hide it from others. Education of these things isn’t the problem. Convincing people that there is a PENALTY for doing these things is the problem.

There isn’t a penalty from society anymore, again, mostly due to Godless Libs. If there is no penalty from society and few believe in a God who is going to hold people accountable, what do you expect is going to happen to society?

Well, he’s been good for my oil stocks. They have doubled under Biden. Supply was reduced, especially from Russia, and ownership of oil commodities has been great.

Can you give accurate reasons for every divorce or fatherless home? Can you explain why there is violence in some homes and what the cause is? How about a reason for every person that becomes a drug addict? People who engaged in certain behaviors are not always doing so because of identical life circumstances, and even people who may have experienced identical life circumstances may behave differently. Isn’t this why you guys are pushing for more mental health providers and benefits isn’t it?

Another big factor not being considered: How do other countries deal with their criminals? The American left doesn’t really believe in punishing criminals. They often just want to use these “vague reasons” you mention to give criminals excuses and let them walk free after their crime. Maybe other countries believe in actually locking criminals up which actually deters a lot of people from committing crimes in the first place. Maybe other countries aren’t full of people who hate their police and aren’t trying to defund and demoralize them. Maybe other countries have enough police doing their job that more crimes are prevented or minimized.

But again, blame guns for the problem and keep trying to confiscate them from law abiding citizens and wondering why the problem is getting worse…

United States has the second highest incarcerated population in the world It should be noted that one country ahead of us is an authoritarian communist regime population of nearly 1.5 billion that executes drug dealers and imprisons people for dissent. Oh and they exceed us in less than 15k by total prison population despite those things.

Our incarceration rate per capita is #6 in the world, trailing such lovely places like Rwanda, Cuba and El Salvador.

I could go on about the surging crime rates and Lib mayors and prosecutors and governors doing absolutely nothing. Not to mention aiding and abetting millions of people illegally coming into our country and providing them every benefit that even tax paying Americans don’t get, and a free ticket to wherever they want to go.

I don’t give a ■■■■ about how many are currently in prison. When people break the law they deserve to go to jail and law and order is breaking down every ■■■■■■■ place where Libs are in charge!!

I agree with you and that’s insanely dumb for West coast states to allow shoplifting without repercussions. Trust me, I’ve seen it happen where I live and I hate it. A pretty recent phenomena brought upon by the 2020 “summer of love” riots.
