It is interesting to see how mainstream media are covering the story.

CNN only mentions trans once in their stories, and they buried in the text. They continue to use Hale’s “dead name” (Audrey) and make no mention of a new name (Aiden). They ignore Hale’s preferred pronoun (he/him) in their reporting.

Police have referred to Hale as the “female shooter” and at an evening press conference added that Hale was transgender. When asked for clarification, a spokesperson told CNN Hale used “male pronouns” on a social media profile.

In contrast, the more-conservative New York Post puts trans right into the headline, and refers to Hale as a “gunman”.

NBC has an exclusive story that includes some details from the manifesto. The headline describes resentment as a motive, but any mention of “trans” is buried in the text.

Clearly the story does not fit into the mainstream narratives. I expect it will soon get buried, especially if details in the manifesto makes it clear that the attack was an anti-Christian hate crime from a radical trans terrorist.

I see you’re including shootings that happen at a school as opposed to school shootings. There is a difference, that as usual, the left seems to either be ignorant of or deliberately ignore so they can push their anti gun narrative.

In the overwhelming percentage of the incidents in that history, while the shootings occurred in a school, the victims were individuals killed by someone who had a personal grudge against them. The shooters didn’t go into a school for the purpose of randomly killing as many people as possible as is the case with school shootings today. If you eliminated the cases where individuals went into a school with one specific person as the intended victim, and then further eliminated the people caught in the crossfire of those personal vendettas, your statistics would change dramatically. Also included in that history were accidental shootings and one that happened at a beauty school, none of which applies to the school shooting narrative that Libs keep pushing to justify their attempts at disarming Americans today.

While you might argue that anyone who resorts to murder as a way to settle a grudge is commiting an irrational act, most of those people are not considered mentally ill, and are convicted after being held mentally competent to be held accountable for their actions.

The problem, and thus the difference between school shootings today and the ones given in that history, is the prevalence of mental illness, not the prevalence of guns. Mental illness IMO, that is being manufactured by the breakdown of the family and the moral decay that is destroying society as a whole, due for the most part to the disbelief, disregard, and disrespect society has for a Holy God. I attribute this primarily to the godless left, who has succeeded in their efforts to so completely secularize society that God has been removed from every aspect of most people’s lives and certainly from the places he needs to be the most; like our statehouses to protect our values, the courthouses where he needs to see those who don’t punished, and the school houses to protect our children. Since the left has kicked him out of these places, by all means keep sending your thoughts to all the victims you’ve caused, but keep your prayers to yourselves. God isn’t listening anymore…
