My party is now officially a mess, don’t get me wrong? If we couldn’t win an election in this environment when 75% of the American people say we are going in the wrong direction then it’s time to make some major leadership changes. I’ve already said I prefer Mr. Trump not run, I still feel that way. Let’s follow the models of good Republican Governors, starting with Florida over the next two years…

I agree. For protests I can understand the need for advance warning for logistics, safety etc but you should not have to pay.

But then I am in favour of other things such as giving felons who have completed their sentence the ability to vote and exercise their second amendment rights.

I agree, making individuals pay to vote restricts their freedom and their voice- hence why the poll tax was abolished.

I did vote absentee once, and I don’t remember having to pay. That said, my memory may be a bit foggy and it might be a state-by-state case basis.

They require it in Oklahoma unless you are mailing from out of state, then it just needs to be signed by two witnesses.

A national infrastructure bill, a bill that tackles climate change, CHIPs and Science act, healthcare for veterans bill (PACT), helped roll out the vax, strengthened relations with all our Western allies, ending the Afghanistan war, supported defending Ukraine, doesnt tweet like a madman, act crazy or instigate coups.

I’m fine with the dude. He’s boring, a terrible salesman and god damn do we need fresh blood in the democratic party for 24- but Bidens fine. He’s been fine.
