Most likely. But miracles do happen. And at least McConnell will be powerless and Dems will head up the Senate committees. AND Warnock will probably win he Senate seat in Georgia, since most peoples’ only reason to vote for Herschel was to get control of the Senate. So, yeah.

I am happy with this outcome.
The progressive stupidity AND the MAGA stupidity are stopped. The Congress will be tied up in a giant cluster â– â– â– â– â– Nothing will pass.
And I could not be happier.
I would be happy if the government stayed permanently cluster â– â– â– â– â– â– â– The less they do, the better off we are.

As a Democrat, I beg to differ. I like Medicare, Social Security, Obamacare, abortion rights, marriage equality, LGBTQ rights, a Supreme Court that doesn’t come from the Federalist Society- you know, liberal stuff.

Walker just lost his best selling point: “Elect me, or the democrats will control the Senate.” And he also won’t have Kemp on the ballot to help pull him across. Not sure how the GOP is going to sell him now.

Or Dems for Warnock. I bet it’ll still be a battle, but they will spend about a quarter of their planned budget.
I would bet that the Dems would prefer to have a real majority, not just a +1 due to VP Harris. I think they’ll fight for him.

I would just prefer a minimalist Congress and keeping some semblance of the status quo.
No massive spending. No new expansive programs. Just tweaks and adjustments.
