Estimates in California’s scandal related to fraudulent unemployment benefits are now ranging between $11.4 and 31 billion.

Earlier reports were that prison inmates were responsible for $1 billion in fraud.

Fortunately for California, their Labor Secretary is likely to resign. Unfortunately for the nation, Biden has picked her for leadership in the US Department of Labor.

…and now you know why Pelosi wanted California to be bailed out by the federal stimulus bill and lay their state’s mismanagement on the backs of babies that haven’t even been born yet.

As I Democrat, I support fraud.

This is not unique to California, unemployment fraud has been rampant nation-wide since the pandemic. California is just the first state to have it audited and release the findings

The lockdowns removed a lot of the normal requirements that prevent unemployment fraud, and California has lead the way in driving its economy into the ground with ridiculous lockdowns.

California had a budget surplus before the lockdowns. Now Newsom is driving the state toward bankruptcy.
