30X30 Leftist land grab

Why are the voters remaining silent on jbidens 30x30 land grab? Section 216 of jbidens EO issued on jan 27 is trying to take control of farmers and ranchers land. He has ordered the secretary of the interior and other agencies to submit a report within 90 days to achieve his goal of putting 30% of the land in the united states under federal control.
Farmers and ranchers make their living from the very land they own. Farmers and ranchers are the stewards of the land they own. They have private property rights. The have the individual right to make the decisions about the property they own.
There is around 3.27 billion acres in the United States. Currently the fed has control of 272 million acres. 30 percent would be around 681 million acres.
Moving quickly the secretary of the interior has all ready issued order 3396 on feb 11. This order rescinds the state and local governments consent for federal land acquisitions. The leftist bypassed many steps when the passed the wilderness bill hr803 on feb 16. In doing this they grabbed 1.5 million acres of new land. Withdrew 1.2 million acres from mineral production. Designated 1,200 miles of new wild and scenic rivers. Expanded 110,000 acres of national monument land. And added 400,000 acres of new recreation, conservation and special management area’s.
They are going to tell you that you can still live and own the land. But the federal government will have control over what you can do on the land. And as has been done before if you refuse to go along with them they will just condemn your land and take it over.
This is a big new green deal push. Their land grab is being used to further their climate change agenda.
Their next goal is to put 50% of the land in the united states under federal government control.

Here is the section of the EO in question

Sec. 216*. Conserving Our Nation’s Lands and Waters. (a) The Secretary of the Interior, in consultation with the Secretary of Agriculture, the Secretary of Commerce, the Chair of the Council on Environmental Quality, and the heads of other relevant agencies, shall submit a report to the Task Force within 90 days of the date of this order recommending steps that the United States should take, working with State, local, Tribal, and territorial governments, agricultural and forest landowners, fishermen, and other key stakeholders, to achieve the goal of conserving at least 30 percent of our lands and waters by 2030.

(i) The Secretary of the Interior, the Secretary of Agriculture, the Secretary of Commerce, through the Administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and the Chair of the Council on Environmental Quality shall, as appropriate, solicit input from State, local, Tribal, and territorial officials, agricultural and forest landowners, fishermen, and other key stakeholders in identifying strategies that will encourage broad participation in the goal of conserving 30 percent of our lands and waters by 2030.

(ii) The report shall propose guidelines for determining whether lands and waters qualify for conservation, and it also shall establish mechanisms to measure progress toward the 30-percent goal. The Secretary of the Interior shall subsequently submit annual reports to the Task Force to monitor progress.

(b) The Secretary of Agriculture shall:

(i) initiate efforts in the first 60 days from the date of this order to collect input from Tribes, farmers, ranchers, forest owners, conservation groups, firefighters, and other stakeholders on how to best use Department of Agriculture programs, funding and financing capacities, and other authorities, and how to encourage the voluntary adoption of climate-smart agricultural and forestry practices that decrease wildfire risk fueled by climate change and result in additional, measurable, and verifiable carbon reductions and sequestration and that source sustainable bioproducts and fuels; and

(ii) submit to the Task Force within 90 days of the date of this order a report making recommendations for an agricultural and forestry climate strategy.

© The Secretary of Commerce, through the Administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, shall initiate efforts in the first 60 days from the date of this order to collect input from fishermen, regional ocean councils, fishery management councils, scientists, and other stakeholders on how to make fisheries and protected resources more resilient to climate change, including changes in management and conservation measures, and improvements in science, monitoring, and cooperative research.

Tell me how much you would care if they were coming after your property? Easy to say nothing to see here when it does not affect you.

Where does it say they are coming after your property?

The US government already owns 28% (640 million acres) of the land in the US.

There’s nothing about putting any lands under federal control in that EO.

Where did you get that part from?

Probably the hysteria comes from articles like this. Although the OP messed some numbers up. There are 2.27 billion acres in the US, not 3.27. 30% of 3.27 is not 681, etc.

As already said, the federal government already owns 28% of all land.

It does seem to be 100% disinfo to rile people up.

It looks to me that the intent is to support land trusts and preservation groups like this one in Maine that I support quite a bit.

Did you feel the same way about the use of eminate domain to build the border wall?

thats diffeRent.

Why yes, it is different, because it is in pursuit of the constitutionally enumerated federal power to provide national security.

That way you take money away from farmers who are mostly republican. That’s partly what happened inCal… It’s why the delta smelt is more important that farming. Even though the delta is a man made water system.
