There are some Republicans who need Trump’s base to get elected. It will be interesting to see if those who back Trump on this deal will keep their jobs. Adam Schiff was right when he told the Senate if they didn’t get rid of Trump he would continue to do bad things.

She was amazing. They should of had her handle the whole thing

My understanding is that is not what Lee disputed; rather it was that he heard what the call was about.

This trial is going as well as Trump’s 60 court cases claiming “election fraud.”

Yes, it is common. But that phrase is being miss-used as the missing part of the puzzle to make Trump’s actions impeachable as a high crime or misdemeanor. When I have asked when did Trump tell them to trespass into the capitol building, I am fed the Dem line “he told them to fight like hell.”
That is the only thing they can come up with to indicate he wanted anything more than a legal protests. And it is just an idiom the impeachment managers have used themselves.
Yes, someone broke into the Capitol.
No, there is not evidence Trump wanted them to do that.
"Democratic impeachment managers made the case Wednesday that the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol was no accident but rather a “premeditated” and “foreseeable” outcome after former President Trump spread lies about election rigging, summoned a mob to Washington DC, and then incited them to “fight like hell.”
“He told them to fight like hell and they brought us hell that day,” Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., the lead impeachment manager, said in kicking off Day Two of the impeachment trial against Trump."

No it wasn’t. You obviously didn’t see the prosecution’s case

Yes. Repeatedly.
They have nothing to indicate that Trump was calling for anything but a protest so they used that lame line. Now that has been pulled out from beneath them.
Its over.
And I just posted parts of the case where they used that line.

Hawley…wasn’t his wife and new born was harasses and threaten just outside of her home by libs?
Kind of hard to feel sorry for lib elitists. Personally I think their whinny asses deserve to get a taste of their own medicine.

If one accepted that as a premise, why did Trump not do anything about what was happening at the Capitol building for hours after the Capitol building was breached?

I am not familiar with what he was doing at that time.

There’s the rub; he wasn’t doing anything about it.

Like I said twice before it’s obvious you didn’t watch the trial because that is something else that was covered in detail

Why should it have been? Did he have an obligation to do something at that point and failure to do so was impeachable?
There’s not need to hash through all that. They have not shown he called on anyone to enter the Capitol building.
All else is politics and fluff.

Yes he absolutely had a duty to do something about the mob of Trump supporters storming the Capitol and trying to assassinate his Vice President

Bring it up if he runs for some public office again. That’s where that argument belongs.

Awesome defense of people you agree with trying to assassinate the Vice President and half of Congress. No harm, no foul?

Trump tried to assassinate Pence? I guess I did miss a lot.
And I don’t know what people you have me agreeing with in your mind.
Thats your problem.

We get it, perpetual victim and one day all your enemies will get what’s coming to them.
That’s sorta the point of all this. That nutzo ■■■■ Trump ginned up in the deplorables has to stop.
