That’s not what it says. It just says arms.

Then I have a right to it.

Do they all say “shall not be infringed”?

Why is it so important for you to disarm me?

This is sad.

Are 2A rights unlimited?

Are you infringed from owning an arm if we ban AR15s?

You won’t stop there.

Technically you can ban 100 out of 101 types of arms… and still not be in violation of the 2A.

You are not infringed from owning the 1 Arm available. Buy as many as you like.

Authoritarians unite!!!

It’s super secret.

Sad that you can’t think of an argument against it?

Yes…it’s infringement. What part about it that you don’t understand?

Let’s hear your legal argument, not your emotional argument…

An arm, as understood by the founders, was any piece of kit commonly carried by infantrymen into battle.

They made no distinction between types of arms. Rifling was the newest technology on the block, offering far superior accuracy to smoothbore muskets. They made no distinction between the two.

Firearms tech was starting to accelerate in the late 18th century. The founders would have known that it would only continue to improve.

If they had intended for there to be classifications of arms then they would have spelled that out in the second amendment. But they didn’t. Instead it says “the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”

That’s open and cut. If you ban ARs then you are in violation of the second amendment.

Also why do you get to decide what arm a citizen decides to bear?

Lets see how smart you are. What does banning ammo do? Now think…it’s a easy one.

Last year, in November, the supreme court declined to overturn the Maryland assault rifle ban…

Kolbe v. Hogan

It would appear your simplistic understanding is incorrect…

Then banning guns is constitutional since you have other arms to use.

The court has been wrong in numerous occasions in relation to the second amendment.

In the meantime, assault weapons are banned in 7 states and the courts don’t seem inclined to agree with you…

And those states are in direct violation of the United States constitution.

Also, what the hell is an assault weapon?

I’m sure the AG’s are shaking in their boots…

Which states definition would you like?

Maryland?

Well, we can’t even subdue Afghanistan which is smaller than some states here.
