Wisconsin has no-excuse absentee ballots, and has for many years.

Any qualified elector (U.S. citizen, 18 years of age, who has resided in the district in which he or she intends to vote for at least 28 days) who registers to vote is eligible to request an absentee ballot. Under Wisconsin law, voters do not need a reason or excuse, such as being out of town on Election Day, to vote absentee. Any voter who prefers to vote by absentee ballot may request one. You have several options for requesting an absentee ballot and casting your vote.

My understanding after reading though it is that it is NOT a citizens of Wisconsin being able to request an absentee ballot for any reason. They can.

It was about classification that some clerks erroneously posted to the public that they (the voters) qualified as “indefinitely confined”, which is a one time request for the current election but also applies to future elections. I agree with the court, the current COVID condition shouldn’t count as an “indefinitely confined” condition for future elections.

With no excuse absentee ballot being available, than COVID doesn’t matter.

The court DID rule that the election officials publication that COVID is a reason for claiming indefinitely confined was incorrect. This was in March, so the current ruling merely references that.

And thus everyone can officially give Trump another court win ONLY today.

Wisconsin Supreme Court finally got around to issuing a favorable ruling Trump here.

An update of your so called scorecard’s should reflect this as well.
