Don’t hold your breath. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I didn’t see this topic was merged with the 2020 election fraud thread…

sorry about that if it needs to merge with the other

the constitution is for all states or it is for none of them

" Section 4: Elections

The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of chusing (sic) Senators."

Behind a paywall, but National Review considers Texas’ frivolous.

Ahh… McCarthy… an EXpert!

it seems more and more states are joining frivolity…

So long as the result is that all states run their elections according to laws passed by the legislatures, I’m ok with that. Are you?

The elections were run that way… so there is that.

What is the remedy being sought? To simply nullify the votes in those states? Are they asking SCOTUS to declare Trump the winner in those states? Are these states now denied representation? No Presidential votes, no US Senate votes, no local and state government votes?

Well that’s all we want. And if true, the SCOTUS will certainly see that. If true.

Of course they are. It’s a win-win for them. They get to pacify their rabid Trumpster bases without actually putting themselves on the line.

Unmmmm. No.

Oh, my beloved Missouri. lol

Have you seen what remedy they are seeking?

Trump had many of the must win indicators go in favor as well including almost doubling up his take of the Black vote, upping the Hispanic group %, taking Ohio and Florida and as an incumbent Trump set an all time record for increase total. Obama went down in 2012 as compared to 2008 and still won.

I doubt that they are going to hear the case.

To have the votes thrown out and the winners determined by the state legislator.

But again -Texas does not have clean hands.

I mean - There is are a thousand other reason this lawsuit will fail - but the clean hands doctrine would ALSO apply.

Merely allow those 4 state Congresses to choose the electors.

You know that there’s a couple laws against doing that, right?

How hard would a re-vote in four states be?
