Sure. with government unlimited funds and lawyers. now the state governments are on the hook for all the cost recount and audit. not to mention cost for all the lawsuits. I can see all the regret in republican gov and secretary of state.

I think it has more to do with expecting the other states to play by the constitutional rules that all states are required to play by.

It is. but lets talk the dueling logic.
So the constitution basically says states can pick electors anyway they would like.
Most states have laws that define HOW their state must pick them.

Trump on one hand is telling states to IGNORE state law, and appoint different electors because the constitution says you can do it anyway you like.

Then on the other hand -Texas is saying “these states can not just do whatever they want”

Which is it?
