Well they do, in the sense that they want everyone to give up their own ideas and agree with them. Then we will all be united.
If Republicans take the Senate, the first time they block some lefty proposal we will see how calm and issue oriented the Democrats will be.

Got a bicycle pump and an inflator needle for footballs and such? Push the needle through the cork and pressurize the bottle until the cork is out far enough to get hold of. Or push it into the bottle with a blunt tool.

Twist the philips screwdriver through the edge of the cork along the glass, in and out, all the way around the perimeter. Doing so compresses the cork just enough. As you get almost all the around the perimeter, the cork will slide into the bottle. It will splash back unless you’re careful/experienced.

Now the cork is in the bottle and will want to plug the opening when you want to pour. So as you pour, pass a wooden skewer or clean eyeliner pencil into the bottleneck to block the cork.

Better option, get a Phillips head screw, screw it in with her screwdriver until maybe a half inch height, then use the screw to pull it out, might need pliers. Personally I would just push it in using any blunt object, wooden spoon handle for instance.

the modern divide started with the fear mongering against goldwater. that was when the gop took the turn toward conservatism and the dems toward leftism. before that most of the difference between the parties was regional. both were sort of different definitions of moderate

or i suppose you could go back to fdr, but that was a different era. if you look at the politics not the person, and use fdr and reagan as bellweathers, kennedy had more in common with reagan than fdr and nixon more in common with fdr than reagan.
