And if the races had been reversed, we would never have heard about it, would we? It wouldn’t fit the narrative.
Wait long enough and you will find the case that fits your narrative, whatever it may be.

there’s just different judges.

No one sees a problem with this excuse?

Not our fault you won’t bring it up… you are more than welcome.

I don’t do cherry pick. That process proves nothing.

you expect different judges to always rule the same? i can tell you what i see a problem with, people who see racism in everything. makes me think they have some racial issues of their own

Bold is mine. Irony meter had no guage. It burned out and is going for Earth’s core.

not sure what you’re getting at.

Seems to me an attempt was made at one time to remove subjectivity from sentencing by establishing mandatory sentencing rules for federal judges. Liberals hated it because it sent what they considered to be too many criminals to jail whereas some liberal judge might have let them off.
So…are we back to wanting strong mandatory sentencing rules?

Total miss on the controversy of mandatory sentencing.

Of course. In this case black woman got the bad deal, that’s unfortunate. Until we see white woman got a bad judgment, then we need to fix it.

If those two cases are unfair, then sure…fix it.
Don’t project to other cases based on two cases with different judges. You can’t.
And if one of those sentences is unfair, it isn’t the other sentence that makes it so.

The same? The judge gave a harsher penalty for a lesser crime. Judge don’t use precedent? These judges don’t talk? Don’t follow the same doctrine?

P-anon.

same crime, less money. maybe one embezzled it from a bank and the liberal judge said “cool, go home, i hate banks, they deserve it”. and the other embezzled from a charity helping inner city youths and the liberal judge said “you corrupt stealing piece of ■■■■■ how dare you!”

I agree. There is only one possible explanation.

No need to imagine…

City Clerk, White woman, 250k (paid back 100k of it) = probation

School clerk, black woman, 40k (did counseling and working to pay it back) = 18 months in prison

Again, the answer to that is strict sentencing guidelines that leave little up to the subjective discretion of the judge.
Liberals hate that.

One would have thought that, but I suspect that is not what actually happened.

Same laws?
