No not really if one can look past the fundamentalist religion it’s hard not to look at the wide practiced tradition going back centuries called Bacha bazi. That’s just not cool and literally impossible to vet. Then there is the treatment of women and I could go on and on.
Europe has been expelling them since 2015 six countries just sent a letter to the EU wanting to continue the deportations of Afghans even while all hell is breaking lose. One could ask why is that? It’s not the central block of misfits this time but Germany, Austria, Denmark, Belgium, Netherlands and Greece.
We should allow all the females and male babies in. No male over what? 10 years old? 5?

As SOME are trying spin the narrative that we are only pissed at leaving. NO, NO, NO, it is time to leave, the issue is HOW this withdrawal was executed. Oh and, no, one cannot say it would be just as bad under Trump. He had a condition based agreement, the Taliban broke that agreement many times. Somewhere along the process military strategy was tossed out in favor of optics, security, and common freaking sense.
As I have stated previously, neither clown got my vote, neither were worthy of sitting in that office. My vote went 3rd party, and unless a candidate runs that I can support, regardless of party, I will continue to vote 3rd party.

She is and I feel for her. The risk is part of the job though. I don’t think the way the withdrawal was planned would have made a difference though. This was going to be a sketchy situation no matter what. There’s just no other way to search people as they are let in.

I still take issue with how withdrawal was planned. I hold Biden and the pentagon responsible for their part. Just pointing out the facts about the danger of the operation regardless.
