The break up of the nuclear family, the absolute sadness and absence of love these children are then raised under, mostly without a father that never taught them respect for authority…as the entire country moves away from our national motto of “in God we trust”.

I agree this contributes to violence in general, and mass shootings too…

Do we know about this shooter’s family? I haven’t read anything.

It’s not universially true that mass shooters are from broken homes, but still…
