Two in the mind and one in the heart.

Probably not a bad idea either.

Except could do without excessive face masking, seen enough of that last two years.

Because everyone is still falling over themselves to try and get there first.

This isn’t even true, they aren’t even top 50 . Meanwhile US is top 12. So maybe there is a correlation.

Put down the weedah

So this is interesting. Apparently after the last school shooting in Texas, Abbott came out with a comprehensive school safety plan that included a lot of things being discussed here. Who wants to guess what the TX legislature did with that plan?

If the mentally ill not being removed from our society is to blame for shootings like this, and other countries don’t seem to have as much of a problem with their mentally ill going off and murdering innocent people, maybe we should see if there is anything we can learn from them?

Did it ever occur to you that death is the ultimate goal? Kind of like suicide bombers.

Of course but the question is Then why have so many been staying alive recently. I think it’s scarier when they choose to live.

She is correct. Kids get into everything.

I disagree.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Japan. But they are homogenous and subservient to a fault. They accept that they live in what is basically a police state with a high standard of living with a smile.

Would you want to live in a country where you can be detained for nearly a month without legal counsel? Why do you think their conviction rate is nearly 100%? It’s pretty easy to extract guilty pleas when the police are allowed to deprive you of sleep and talk to you like trash with no one there to give you advice on what to say.

Do other first world countries have the rates of absentee fathers that we have here in the US?

Because the mental health system in America is broken, and there needs to be better services. Especially in the community.

And a lot of other problems that I will not go on about unless someone asks because I’m not going to be the one to derail the thread.

You should have let this kid know that he should wait. :smirk:

Quite frankly, many of these issues stem from discrepancies in societal values.

For what? How is the NRA involved? Everything this kid did was in direct opposition to what NRA stands for and teaches.

They are, in spite of whatever internet article you just hurried up and looked at to confirm your bias. There’s more rapes in that country than you could possibly imagine, and if you had ever traveled this world in your time, you might actually know something about the world around us.

Now, tell us more about how we should be more like Slave Owner China. Don’t be shy now, exactly how should we be more like a nation that owns and forces labor out of its minorities? Come on, meow! Fire up that SlavePad of yours and give us slave answers.

And I agreed. They have less gun violence, rape, guns, prisons, prison population than we do. You can insert any crime statistics and I would be the US is top 10… even if doing per capita.

I didn’t say they could help the US be slave owners. We don’t need help in that regard. But hey keep virtue signaling while you type on a device made in China

I said we should look their violence and see if there is anything we can extrapolate that would help use lower our gun violence.

Reported rapes.

We don’t even report most rapes here. You think India, where the Centgov has only tenuous control of the country districts at best, reports rape?

But he looked at a link.

China? They send you off to a reeducation camp and it’s never reported.

They don’t report accurate crime statistics. They have an entire ethnic minority consisting of more than a million people in a giant concentration camp and don’t even report that since their excuse is that said minority is inherently “criminal”. Use a different country.
