The question is, what dealer obtained the gun from the manufacturer and who did they sell t to. I read that it had been stolen from a legal owner in Saskatchewan. i.e. it “came from” Canada.

If it was given to him by a group or individual specificly to commit the shooting then he did not act alone and it could be terrorism. If he just borrowed it or found it, or even bought it (although his family said he had no money) it was probably just murder.

Yes, multiple media reports say it was stolen in Canada, not smuggled into the country.

Also it seems the killer finished his shift at a grocery store and then sat outside the store for several hours before beginning his rampage.

And the police detonated a package after the shootings, but have not revealed anything else about it.
