The sister of the slain soldier told the Atlantic reporter his accounts were incorrect and to not run that story. That was months ago. And here we are within days of a national election in the midst of early voting and the Atlantic ran the story anyway knowing it was all made up.
I hope the family takes legal recourse and sues the Atlantic into bankruptcy.
