There are an estimated 10 million AR type weapons in private homes. That would be a Pandora’s box that would be impossible for him or any senile person to deal with. I think he will need to do it through the tax code. Make taxes on ammo so punitive that only the rich can be armed.

Do you think he doesn’t recognize that his action saved his grandmother’s life? It doesn’t take a shrink to know that even a kid can figure that one out.

I’m sure soldiers returning from war recognize that they were killing the “enemy” but still battle with PTSD and other psychological effects. And they are adults.

I’d feel more guilty about killing an enemy soldier than a home invader.

Definitely. At least the enemy soldier is fighting for a cause and for his country. They may even be conscripts that didn’t have a choice in the matter. That’s respectable.

A home invader is a selfish pile of filth that doesn’t deserve any sympathy.
